SanghaLive - ONLINE DHARMA TALK

19.00 – 20.30 UK time Sunday 23 May, 2021

23 May 2020

Is there Compassion for the self? Is Compassion the end of self?

It has been said often enough that the Dharma flies with two wings - compassion and wisdom.

Compassion emerges from a liberated wisdom. That happens when constructs in the mind lose their significance, especially self and dependency on feelings tones.

This talk will explore the contraction of compassion into self interest.

The liberation of compassion reveals the dissolution of 'I' and 'my.'

The teachings will offer reminder of the meaning of 'acting out of compassion.'

Session includes a guided meditation, talk and Q and A.

Live. All are welcome. Go to website to view, plus mediation/q and a.

IN CONCLUSION

Teachers, managers, directors of centres, organiser and staff connected with our programmes, endeavour to offer as kind and thoughtful a service as possible. This principle applies before the programme that we offer, during the event and after. A small team of people often give support to a large group. Please be patient if we are unable to respond immediately. If you feel concern with any of our responses to you, before, during or after an event, please email us. We will address your concern and get back to you or you can contact a centre above to express your concern.

THANK YOU.
